A large book containing topographical maps. The young atlas reader discovers countries in Africa.
A book used by young girls in Middle America to imagine the world beyond them and dream of a life far away, before ultimately getting knocked up by the boy next door and getting a job at the local Walmart.
AUDIO MODEMS:
A computer modem that was used by dialing (rotary or otherwise) another computer and placing the phone receiver in the modem. Data was sent at incredible speeds with audio tones.

BADGER BRUSHES:
Shaving brushes made with badger hair, used with a block of shaving soap and a straight razor.

Calculators:
Device used for speedy mathematical calculations. Developed after discovery of finger counting and abacus and prior to automatic Quick books calculations.
An ancient device used to make mathmatical calculations and, in the 90s, store video games. When students were spotted making rigourous calculations in English classes, the device became banned, and ultimately, passe.
